Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I’m a freelance writer with a dual focus on content marketing writing and travel writing. I hold an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Monash University in 2013, as well as an Honours degree in Communications and Media. My career has spanned roles from Online Editor at Jacaranda FM to marketing and communications for major corporate brands.
Over the last decade, I’ve worked as a freelance writer for clients in everything from personal finance to automotive. Alongside that, I’ve built experience working in Marketing, Communications, and content for both corporates and agencies. This includes stints at global telecoms brands, work within the insurance industry, and time spent at digital agencies.
No matter the industry I’ve ended up in, my writing experience and my love for marketing have always taken me by the hand and led me back to content marketing and digital marketing. I truly believe that good content builds relationships, which builds trust. After all, nothing sticks in your head like a good story – not even a good campaign.

I’m also a keen equestrian, competing mainly in Dressage with some Showjumping on the side. Obviously, I love writing about anything equine and equestrian – and have the knowledge and understanding to write in-depth schooling and training articles.
